Thanks and Congratulations

I'm feeling very honoured and privileged to have conducted such an accomplished and spirited group of choral singers as the Calgary Bach Choir in a concert of some of the finest and most challenging choral works ever written - the 6 Motets of J.S. Bach! Thanks to all choristers involved for your dedication, hard work, and earnest musicianship. Thanks to Antonina Cox for your steadfast and inspiring presence in rehearsal and at the continuo organ in performance. Thanks to our wonderful orchestra assembled by Dean O'Brien, with Laura Reid in the role of concertmaster, and Heather Haydu as principal oboe and soloist in the two orchestral sinfonias. Thanks, as well, to Knox United Church for their beautiful Sanctuary and pipe organ, and to all others behind the scenes who keep us making beautiful music!
